Aidan!!
So, most recent events....Aidan William arrived!! We are so happy to have him here and he is such a joy already. I went to the doctor on October 29th hoping to have some change...and was disappointed. But, the disappointment did not last long. I got scheduled to be induced the next day at 7:30 am. I hardly slept that night before. I felt like I had to cram everything in that needed to get done before the baby came. I thought I was ready...but suddenly was not. We got up really early to go drop Lexi off at Grandma and Grandpa marsh's. My dad and Kurt gave me a blessing and then we headed up to the hospital. We were a little late, but it didn't matter because it took them forever to get me into a room. We did the routine vitals and paperwork, then they started my IV. I got started on my antibiotics and began the wait. After a few hours we got Oxytocin started to start my labor! Around 12:30 my dr came in to break my water. Once that happened, the contractions really started hurting so I decided to get my epidural. My anesthesiologist was great. He was in and out within 5 minutes...but then was back in two hours because the pump had been unplugged somehow and so I was hurting again. We weren't very happy about that, although it is kind of funny now. Around 3:30 I was feeling really nauseous and having bad heart burn so my nurse gave me this nasty crap to drink. She said it would either fix everything or make me throw up. And with my luck it made me throw up. Which ended up being a good thing because about half an hour later nurse said it was time to call my dr! Now, just a warning on this next part. It may make some of you moms jealous and cause you to not like me anymore....which would be really sad. So, read only if you can look past it and we can continue our friendship :) My dr arrived and things started going. I started pushing at 4:29. I had three contractions and after 5 minutes of pushing-he was here! Things went so smoothly and we loved our doctor. She did amazing. So, Aidan came at 4:34 pm. He weighed 6 lbs and 6 oz and was 19.5 inches long. He is so healthy and doing so well.
We decided to only stay at the hospital for 24 hours so we came home on Halloween. My mom got him a cute little lion outfit to come home in. I was surprised by how big it was, but still super cute. We dressed Lexi up in a BYU cheerleading uniform, but she had had a long day was not very thrilled about any of it.
All in all it was great experience and we are so happy to have Aidan with us. We are still working out the kinks of having two little ones under 1 year old, but we have had a lot of help! We're so grateful to all who have helped us through the last week.

Sigh
So...life has taken me for a ride the past couple of weeks. We've been very busy with lots of things going on! Lexi is now 7 months old and I am just barely filling out her baby book for it. Kurt and I moved to Harrisville at the end of June. Such a blessing! Our place is a townhome, 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. It is just great. Lexi experienced her first time swimming in the past month and also took a road trip to Shoshone Idaho for Memorial Day. She can get onto her hands and knees and rock. She is so close to crawling, its miserable. After moving she latched onto Mommy and doesn't seem to want to let go. She also has a hard time sleeping through the night since we moved. We moved her into a bigger crib, which helped a lot. Things are just going great! Our baby boy is developing well and pregnancy with a boy seems to suit me just fine! I am now 23 weeks along and feeling great. The Norman side of the family had a family reunion this past week and there are some pictures of the hike that Lexi and I went on.

6 months Old! Ah!
We have hit the half year mark and I just cannot believe it. Time has certainly flown. My little girl is growing up! She now weighs 15.3 lbs and measured 25 3/4 inches which are both average for her age. We gave her a little hair trim this month and also started her on baby food. As for an update on number 2-it is a BOY and we couldn't be happier! The preparations have already begun and I am just 18 weeks along. We are also moving at the end of June to a nice townhome in Harrisville. It has 3 bedrooms and will be such a blessing! Here are some cute pictures of Lexi this month :)
